I played Jade druid to 10 or so last season (before starting on Reno mage) and although it's undoubtedly powerful and can win in impressive fashion if it gets a good start (like almost any ramp druid), I still think it probably wouldn't have good matchups against any faster midrange decks even...
I haven't played a ton of games with it (I average ten minute games so it takes some time), but this is what I used from 10 to 5.
It's a bit different from the standard lists (I'm missing quite a few cards from those), but it has been working well enough and I've seen a similar list played...
I usually end up somewhere between 5 and 1 depending on how much I dick around after I secure that shiny epic. I mostly play control decks too, right now it's a Reno mage.
The more likely scenario is that warriors get some card that actually enables a new viable deck, and the masses still complains about how shaman is broken and way overpowered.
From what I've read there's absolutely no chance this patent holds up if it's actually challenged for several reasons:
1) You have to patent an actual specific implementation of an abstract idea. There's no actual specifics here outside of the formula which you can't patent.
2) You have to...
Murloc alternate hero for shaman.Recruit a friend
It probably takes 2-3 hours? You can get there just playing the innkeeper or (I think) dueling a friend.
Edit: It's been a while so I apparently severely overestimates the time needed. Some people posted they completed it in under an hour.
I think I just used all my pack opening luck for the rest of the year, opened 22 packs and got Princess Huhu, Fandral, Cenarius and two Hoggers.
Of course it was on the Americas region where I hadn't played since January and have hardly any cards...
Yeah, it's pretty much just the old aggro "weapon" warrior. I think there's 8-10 pirates (N'Zoth's mate, bloodsail raider, dread corsair, the new pirate cultist and maybe deckhands, I haven't looked at the popular lists really).
Yeah, it has to be pirate warrior. Mech warrior wasn't even a thing back when all the mechs were in.
And pirate warrior is surprising in how viable it is (which could totally be due to the overall state of ladder play). Most joked about it when the new warrior class pirate was shown, but I...
Congratulations. I very rarely play arena these days, but I can only agree there should be some cosmetic rewards there too. Just an animated portrait of a different color for some amount of arena wins would be nice (and not very resource demanding).
I think they've said they want to enable...
Another thing I often played wrongly early on is that sometimes you just have to drop the valiant even if you don't get to totem immediately. It's not that easy to remove and effectively has soft taunt.
I've been playing a control shaman deck this season working on the golden portrait. I played mostly midrange last season, but wanted something different and aggro is just not my cup of tea. It's been a lot of fun, but definitely not any kind of fast.
Warrior might not be OP by whatever vague definition that holds, but it's still played a ton, arguably more than shaman, so I'm not really sure what the point is. And if the claim is that shaman is somehow overpowered at the moment I have a hard time seeing how that holds true when they match up...
Everyone saying it doesn't necessarily make it true though. Going by thevS meta report(the only one that I know of that actually collects some data), Warrior has been the most played class for the last four weeks and midrange shaman is twice as common as aggro shaman. There is a lot zoo though...
You're probably right that Flame Leviathan is worse, but at least I can see some kind of deck that was intended to go in (almost all spells and big guys). Whatever did Anomalus get played in, some kind of Reno mage?
On top of that, nearly every deck you play from 4 to legend will be strong, optimized meta decks and your opponents will play them pretty well, because those are the people who are actively trying to get to legend.
All the way to 5 you will run into gimmick decks and "weaker" decks that...
Another factor is that there's a shitload of people playing Hearthstone on tablets/phones casually. It's doubtful Overwatch will make any difference on that segment.
I had been elevator'ing a bit the last two days around rank seven and I was afraid that hitting five this season might be a...
I got Volazj and N'Zoth from my 60 packs when Old Gods hit, but priest is the only class I have golden so I haven't even tried to make a deck out of it.
I missed most of the stream, but Shaman got some good stuff for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing all the cards when they put the usual album up on Facebook.
Long War team was contacted by 2K mid 2015 and have given feedback on the mod tools and where the game could be made more moddable as they have used the new builds they have gotten from Firaxis.
The modding tools looked amazing. There's easy access to everything you could want to fiddle with...
People want to see high scoring games (or at least that is the belief of the league) so you pretty much have to throw it into an empty half of the field to get it called against you. It's the same with in-the-grasp, it will only ever be called if it's in favor of the offense. Same with offensive...
I thought there was a topic on the game at some point, but I couldn't find anything searching. I've been looking forward to this one since it was originally announced, as I really like the look of the gameplay and the art style.
Necropolis is a third person action game inspired by roguelikes...
Yes, but at heavy risk for that scout. The way it worked with the "Beaglerush" tactic you got all the free shotsandyou got to move away/finish off any survivors on your next turn.
Did they specify anything? All I saw was Jake Solomon saying on twitter that there will be some changes in response to that particular tactic, which I personally think if perfectly fine. As silly as the scamper mechanic is (and I've yet to see anyone with a better solution to the problem)...
