Yeah, seems like I killed this captain three times with normal attacks but he kept coming back until I executed him and cut off his head. He was very messed up looking by the end of it.

Exactly, you don't have to actually land the ult to make your ult useful. He is so strong early to mid that the fact he falls off is negligible since you can build yourself and your team such a massive lead through ganks and objective control.

He is certainly fucking hard to play. I played him mid in a normal and did okay. I have to say I think he'd be better in the jungle, his combo is kind of vicious as a gank tool.

I won one of my games in 16 minutes and there were two more between 18 and 20 minutes during placements. I don't think I had any game last more than 25 minutes - nevermind 35 minutes a game. I'd say it probably took a little more than 6 hours to get to gold and I'm only Plat. I don't see it...

Unranked to gold does not seem worth $50 to me, lol. My fresh smurf was placed into silver 1 and cruised right on into gold gaining 33+ points a game.
