How the hell did you accomplish all this shit so quickly. I have 140 hours in the game and just beat the story yesterday. I'm not best at the game, but definitely not the worst. Probably due to the fact this is my first MH game and am fumbling as I'm going but still.

So started playing a lancer a few days ago and I finally farmed up and got the Perdition's Hand as my "default". Is the Nerg Armor set any good with this weapon, in particular the set bonus which heals on hit? What are some Armor setups people run with it?

True dat. I never played a MH game before and I detest Dark Souls style games and didn't think grinding "bosses" would be fun, but this game has some mysterious quality, just something that I can't put my finger on that's addictive to me.

OK more than 80 hours into the game and I just found out now (via YouTube) that once you have a monster targeted with your bow it is auto targeted so don't touch your Right Thumb Stick and your arrows will always shoot that spot like the head. I think my DPS just went up by 1000%.

I think PohX is playing one now (Death's Oath). Coincidentally at the play style (just run forward) looks pretty fun with the pretty purple explosions and I was considering this next league.

So I see a lot of bow players (I think I'm settling on this as a primary). So are people upgrading bows (or any weapon quite frankly) of each element type as they go, or are they settling on 1 or 2 that they use for all content. I love the game and the grind overall is fine, but keeping up 4-5...

Not sure how you feel about group play, but you can always search SOSs for that specific boss. Should be plenty of them up at all times (at least now).

I do exactly the same thing. It's way easier to keep it up on bosses in particular which is the only reason why I have Cyclone in my build now.

1. Melee combat is still awkward, but I don't feel like I'm hugging the mobs. Spell casting is awesome however. 2. It definitely looks like a game from 5-10 years ago with things up close, but it's good enough that to me it's still very immersive and I don't even pay attention to it any more.

Yeah. I hear that argument as well. From my personal experience, I never seemed to get the great returns in terms of item/currency drops, but the RNG gods have never favored me. If I were racing to 100 from an XP perspective I'd probably rethink selling however.

The difference for me is the grind in BDO is the grind to PvP better which for some reason is not very satisfying for me. There is no PvE carrot and that is what burns people out like me where PvP wasn't the main focus or goal.
