Been playing for a couple of days, I like it so far. But that doesn't mean much, a lot of mmos do the beginning well.

Win 10 had/has it's issues but it's very good imo. I really liked 7, didn't want to move but would never go back now. Win 10 is just much easier to use. You might as well upgrade. Your issues are going to become a way of life the longer you hold out. Nothing in computer world stands still.

I have the strix 2080. Big ass card and it just fits into my case, which is bigger than most. I have a hard time believing that the 3080 will require major upgrades in other pc components. Not a great way to sell cards.

I never made it past season 5. Lot of my friends stopped around there too. Not because season 5 was bad or anything in particular though. Just wasn't new anymore. Most series have the same problem, even if they still hold high production values the concept itself starts to get old.

Sub gives access to DLC's, not expansions afaik. When I'm playing this game i always sub. But for the crafting bag / double storage mainly. You also get the xp / research bonuses, etc.. But if you craft then that bag is gold. I'm sure there is an argument to be had about "THAT'S HIGHWAY...

ESO has tons of systems to grind and a lot of story content. I putz around in it a couple of months a year or so. Never really get that far, always end up getting sucked into the crafting grind then get bored and leave. Only to come back a year or so later. I have a few toons up to mid levels...

One of my 980s finally gave up the ghost so picked up a 2080 rtx. Great card, runs everything I play at 1440 and nvidia surround much better than the 980's in sli.
