The combat/animations still have this weightless look to them. Something as simple as the legs not gaining momentum as you speed up (cuz you run fast in this game) or your weight not shifting when you strafe gives it this floaty look.

If you're using a Ryzen cpu you may just need to update your bios. They are notorious for black screening new builds b/c of not being fully compatible with whatever bios is on your mobo.

Never tried FFXI, d/l the link... the controls make it virtually unplayable for me at least. I know it's old school but the ui/controls are even worse than original EQ.

I would also suggest PFUI, modified power auras (weakaura alternative), and .exe mod for auto-loot. The only thing you can't do is make aura bars as far as I can tell.
