Right, like I said my biggest issue is like introducing extra stuff that clearly won't get resolved. The actual episodes this season would seem fine if there's wasn't a hard deadline right around the corner.
I get what you're saying but I think calling it on par with the final season of GoT is excessive. With only only a 1 hour episode remaining I still don't see how they won't end with a crazy amount of loose ends.
It's hard to say. Gardens is a little different than the rest of the series, but you'll always have the lots of characters and very little exposition thing.
I mean if you want to do that both Miyagi and cobra kai have the same roots as well, there's enough philosophical differences between sensai lawrence and sensai kreese to warrant the distinction.
Season 5 was definitely a down season overall. In and of themselves the season 6 episodes have been fine, but my issue is that the story is moving a long so slowly and there's only 2 episodes left. They're not going to wrap up jack shit and it's just going to end.
I don't know anyone that thinks it was the best thing ever. I do know some people that thought it was fine or even pretty good. Those are the same people that think WoT is fine or pretty good. This show is bad. And not just because it butchers the source material. It's bad independent of that.
Ok, let me rephrase. having ultron and black panther on the better than this movie list makes me question the list. also having ant man 2 as below those movies is also real dumb.
Right. When it was announced that it was 6 episodes I sort of expected them to skip the Laconia stuff as well as the post time jump stuff. But here we are.
That's fair I guess. I think most people will have that reversed though. I liked BSG fine, but I think the first 3 seasons of this show are just much better.
I liked S3 a lot, but I also really, really liked the first 2 seasons. I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone that got past the first couple of episodes and called it a mediocre show. Maybe it's just not a show for you.
Elaida was never Black Ajah
Combining Galad and Gawyn would be real, real awkward considering how divergent they end up.
Definitely seems like they've combined at least Bornhold in with Valda.
Them reducing the number of Forsaken seems very likely
Sitting circle? I assume you mean the...
Well this thread sure went in an awesome direction. This show was probably my favorite before Hawkeye and I still feel like the high points are probably better than Hawkeye, but that show is much more consistently good. This one is too up and down.
It's kind of fine for what it is, but it also isn't great. The negative thing to me that stands out is how slow the fight choreography is. Everything just feels so slow that someone's decrepit grandmother could avoid or counter it. Not sure if that's an intentional throwback thing or just all...
