that's part of it, but ball movement and spacing is 100x better so bringing back hand checking won't turn the game back into 90s hoops. Playing off the ball is actually a thing now.
VP loot aside from PD is mostly mediocre, part of it is having epics with kunark launch instead of later in like it was on live. VP weapons would have some value then.
I think you'll get mixed takes on it, but my personal take is that cap 1 is a good bit better than both of those. the bottom rung of MCU to me is Cap Marvel is the worst by A LOT, then Thor 2, IM 2, and Black Panther are in the next tier.
I think the range of people posting here is interesting. The whole range of well known TLP Vets, confirmed retards, and a whole spectrum in between. With an emphasis on spectrum.
Velks was bad before the revamp. Revamp was relatively early into the expansion though so it wasn't like it was bad for most of the expansion or whatever. Once they did the revamp it was a solid xp zone that had some unique loot that was worth getting.
There was a Velks revamp during Velious on live which increased the level of the mobs and turned it into a decent xp zone. Prior to the revamp it was pretty much an AIDS zone, but the revamp happened in Era so people did utilize it quite a lot towards the end of the expansion and people used it...
I mean you're going to get some amount of that in almost any non real time actiony type online games due to people just being distracted or whatever. Rope is there if it's super egregious but yeah sometimes people are absurdly slow. it even happens in mythic although I'd at least like to think...
I mean obviously most people aren't going to have ~ 70+ percent win rates and some people buy cosmetic stuff. My point was you can pretty easily cash out of MTGO and buy back in when you want to later on.
I haven't played 1E in like ~ 30 years but that's definitely where my nostalgia for the game is regardless of the actual modern quality of it. Malaki the Gnome Thief/Illusionist will live on forever.
Kamigawa was a pretty cool limited set and had some fun interactions, it was just had a relatively low power level and was coming off of a block with one of the highest power levels ever so it had a very minimal impact on Standard and constructed in general in comparison.
This set seems similar...
Well I had suggested that Suns/Bucks would be a cool series, ratings be damned. But Suns/Hawks is cool too. Part why Hawks and Suns being at this point was obviously being relatively healthy compared to other teams in the playoffs, but we'll have to see what these Giannis and Young injuries...
