Abysmal story, extremely tedious combat and pretty uninspired over all. After 10 hours I was like "well it'll probably get good" and then repeated that until 50 had gone by. I beat it and did all the crap that you could do without going NG+. If it wasn't on the switch and something I played...
I think I'm bored already now that I've hit the endgame loop. Within a week hit Slayer 32, Behemoth 23 and got a bunch of different gear to +10/+11 since that's as high as I could go without leveling more gear/doing tedious behemoth chores.
Definitely fun though while it lasted, hope they add...
My friend has all of the TMB items and backed the kickstarter for the new one so I'm sure we'll play it again, but even he agrees it's lacking. He just really likes the style of everything. Art/chips etc. and I agree they do offer some premium stuff.
I do enjoy their other offering of...
Yeah started hammer while I do 900 of each patrol to get orbs to finish crafting all the stuff to at least +6. Fights go so much easier. I tried to stay away from it since I usually hammer main in Monster Hunter, but I might have found what I like best.
Speaking of orbs why the shit isn't there...
After playing a half dozen games of TMB and probably 2 dozen scenarios in Gloomhaven I really don't want to play them anymore because of the similar feeling of I'd rather just play D&D. I wouldn't mind them in video game format though.
Finally played Xia last night. Really, really enjoyed it...
I game 30-50 hours a week on average and still manage to go outside, gym, not look like I live in a cardboard box and I make in a year what he makes in 2 months probably.
If I had his money I'd be looking like a god damn fitness model and not have to pay for my twitch thots to fetch my dew and...
Nah, just get yourself to 50% or less at the start of the fight. Pop weapon charge, get 1k+ shield that never really goes away unless you stop doing damage while still having the perks of rage/iceborne/wild frenzy and faceroll the fights without worry about any damage spikes.

I am getting...
Bought the arcslayer bundle since I've been binge playing.
Got 500/500 with multiple weapons/armor sets. Iceborne is definitely broken. Using the build with Skarn's sword that gives a shield on hit and it's impossible to die. Also the game is infinitely better once in Heroic since the people...
Asmon can have some valid points when he's being serious/level headed, but I wouldn't go as far as saying he's entertaining in the majority of the time. Dude has zero self respect and that was understandable early on when he was literally the stereotype gamer, but now with the means to do...
I got almost all the stuff for the sword/repeater builds, but I still need to get my +2 aetheric atunement and +2 cunning to +3, but I just barely got to 350GS last night so it's not like I'm at the end game or can even craft stuff to 10+ so the min/max can wait.
Maybe I've just been lucky, but I have +3 of almost all the good things already and I've only been playing for a few days at slayer level 21. The core rewards seem pretty generous especially with the guaranteed combine if you use 2 of the same.
Surprised to say it, but I am liking this game a...
Started playing this on xbox last night and bought the elite hunt pass since I enjoyed it.
I still like Monster Hunter better overall, but it was very easy to jump into this game without any of the clunkiness of MH.
The behemoths are fun to fight, but are all pretty trivial so far especially...
From watching a bit it looks like a very heavy dps check and most of the people I saw streaming were not that good. Trying to facetank robo dogs, standing in poison etc. I leave to go out of town Sat. for the week. Bummed I won't get a chance to try it ;[
I doubt anyone I played with prior is going to jump on this since they are all married with kids. Maybe illidrama.com will come back.
Chucking people into Darkshore from the Horde Felwood flight path while I fill my bank with tubers and NDB will probably only be entertaining for a few days...
People will be soloing the raid in the first week if it's possible to do so without some gimmicking requirements that force multiple players to progress so claiming it's too difficult is bullshit.
I'm gonna jump on the train that they can't make matchmaking with 8 work properly because while...
I'd agree with you, but go hop into twitch and see all the trannies, sjw etc. that are playing and watch their viewership increase on the regular. People who never even touched magic are being exposed to it and in turn playing MTGA.
I don't think you have to worry about the paper collapse any...
When people stop pretending MTG is supposed to be competitive they would be a lot less saltier.
WOTC is going to ride the gravy train with diversity and influencers while getting rid of the neckbeard stigma and raking in all the $$$$.
Once MTGA is the de facto method of tournament play and all...
Job system was cool, but everything else pales in comparison to VI. The amount of character choices, story, side story quest lines, endings, main villain, ultros, music, graphics etc. If it was released today it would be a top rated RPG.
Agree with the above. The quantity of games a pro plays is going to keep them towards the top. It's why we are seeing non pros and random streamers hit top 10 mythic. They play 500+ games a month.
I said quality IPs not boy band simulator XV.
Plus people bought that garbage game up.
Vote with your dollars!@! (this goes for all companies)
Also FFVI was best, fight me.
Pretty much. I don't think there is a competitive event at the top end where the players aren't doing what they need to do to gain advantages since everyone is going to be pretty close to the same level skill wise. It's rampant in every sport that exists so why would MTG be different?
This is what I ended up finalizing.
I'd say my worst match up were variations of big gruul if I didn't hit all of my removal or history's early.
Control match ups were probably 50/50 purely based on whoever had the best opener.
Pretty much any small creature board loses and I think I had over...
My Orhoz list got me to diamond today. First month I've only played a handful of mono red the entire ladder and I did it in just about the same amount of games as when I go turbonerd RDW. B01 scrub of course =O
If you have basic hand tools and are moderately competent you can frame something like that for less than $30-40 with all materials for a basic frame with glass/matte. Otherwise have fun paying hundreds.
But I realize not everyone is a DIYer.
Deck matching anecdote and with the new set it's possible more variety is on the ladder, but I've been playing almost solely Orhoz and I am facing a lot of deck variety which has never been the case previously when I was full bore mono red , white or gruul. I'm actually enjoying playing ladder...
Eh I guess that depends on the area you live and your education system pay rates. He's making at least $40-50k year, gets to work from home and makes his own schedule. Seems pretty good for the artsy fartsy type even if the hourly turns out to be low at times. My gf makes less than that as a...
Just noticed this thread. My friend paints miniatures for a living and it's crazy how much people spend especially when he gets orders from outside of the US. Some dude from France had him paint a giant set of star wars figurines and spent thousands on it.
