Some of you may recall I had applied for a senior UI developer position at a company that does federal contract work. I accepted the offer and just this past week was able to begin dev work.
And wow, what a mess. It is truly amateur hour. Granted, visually the application looks pretty...
The Cisco AnyConnect software was installed after the fact (by me) as part of some separate setup process. Interestingly, I already installed it in a VM that's running on this system and it works fine. So clearly it's not needing any certificates that exist on the host operating system. Which...
I have a question for any network gurus that might be here.
I started my new remote development job recently. The laptop they sent me has two different VPN softwares installed. One is for connecting to the company network and the other is used to connect to the federal governments (Cisco...
"So, I would just do little things. Like replace her dog with a slightly different dog, or change the furniture in her house so she thinks she's shrinking. You know, basic stuff."
I was figuring Sally would go for that.
After thinking about it some, my only complaint I have with Elden Ring is that it's so large with so many bosses that when I finally completed the game it felt rather meaningless. The final boss was basically just yet another boss. The final area yet another area. The game didn't really build...
The Hulk didn't have THAT much screen time. And she's the focus of an entire show. Also, the show isn't going to have the budget of a fucking Avengers movie.
Well, I was thinking they could remap Titania's face over the body builder's. Body builder could be paid cheap since she wouldn't have to "act". I think it's doable, but alas we have a full CGI version which looks like shit.
Yeah I think they should've went the old school Bill Bixby / Lou Ferrigno route and just painted up a female body builder. Slip in some computer trickery, and I think it could've worked.
Any recommendations on a media player? I used to use MPC-HC but looks like it's no longer being developed. Might as well update to something more recent. Also, I hate VLC Player. So not that.
Anyone else having weird network related issues in Windows 11? What seems to be happening is TCP socket connections initially fail sometimes, so you'll experience programs failing to connect, then retry, then are fine. I reloaded back to 10 and the problem went away. Reloaded 11 again and...
I just beat Dragonlord Placidusax. I used Latenna the Albinauric spirit and parked her ass quite a good distance from him (remember, she is stationary). Then once I got his attention I pretty much tried to avoid him, getting in attacks when it was reasonably safe, and she whittled him down.
I did Great Stars with Wild Strikes (Cold) and pretty much curb stomped everything all the way to the end. Elden Beast was super annoying because I felt like I spent most of my time chasing it down.
The cut scene shows a significant change to the world. However, continuing the game (not NG+) the world is the same as it was before the Elden Beast encounter.
I completed the game but chose the option to continue on rather than NG+. So, where is the player in relation to the story at this point? You can't reenter the tree. So is one technically before the Elden Beast again but unable to redo?
