Will be playing this Thursday morning (mostly trying GS & some S&B) if anyone is going to mess around for KR launch and wants to play.

Expectations are everything. Anyone who looks at this game and doesn't see the signs on the wall that it's going to fail massively is pretty delusional. With that being said, it's a F2P MMO with decent graphics and some interesting concepts - that's enough for me to spend a bit of time playing it.

Changes in combat means I'll play this for a drunken weekend on release where as I was pretty much going to entirely skip, which is saying something since an MMO has to be incredibly bad for me to not even try.

I caved and bought the wallpaper because I like it quite a bit alongside the new dragon mount & Vykas pet.

I definitely don't recommend playing a Paladin. They're legitimately the class you put your least talented player who may be functionality retarded in. They're support though and the ease of play for someone who wants to raid is attractive.

Just a reminder that if anyone wants to try the game, the above pass basically allows you to boost a character without any honing bullshit. Hop in Discord and ask for help, bonus points if you create a Paladin.

I used all bound & unbound leapstones across 5 characters. I never sold any however had a metric fuckton to convert (I was 1600 when Akkan was released). I ended up having to buy <200.

It's a better system than the garbage that is D4 where you get drop after drop of useless shit, bad rolls, and obnoxiously named loot that removes all sense of actual rarity. Sure, the 'honing failed' screen sucks but it has a pity limit that guarantees you the hone eventually.
