They did a great job in casting Scott Glenn as Stick, I was actually more impressed with that then Kingpin, but that's probably due to my indifference to Kingpin as a villian for DD.

Nope was a comic series by vertigo that ran 2+ years , not sure if it was before Chew or not. Art was by Mike Allred and written by Chris Roberson. I enjoyed it but it was a bit flighty not too serious.

Looks like a young version of Helen Slater, not sure what look you thought she'd have. All of DC stuff has the darker costumes. I certainly didn't think they would go with the sexpot Micheal Turner version of Supergirl. Only thing would be the tights but I can see for a tv version no bare legs.

I really don't remember much of the Arrow/Batman stuff, most of my Green Arrow reading was the Mike Grell era, so Longbow Hunters and his uncanny resemblance to The Warlord, which was done by Mike Grell at the same time. Here's hoping to Arrow and the Outsiders at some point.
