I do agree with you, but the question is not how much would it cost to go to Mars, or anywhere else, but why should we go there. Harvesting ressources ? Is our goal as a species to colonize as much worlds as possible ? I think we should try to send rovers on Jupiter's moons or Saturn's moon...

What I like in this serie is the focus on small task, such as killing that dragon, blasting that base, etc. No epic space battle between a gazillion spaceships and "hurr durr we've built a bigger laser" nonsense. It has a Western movies feelings.

What I liked in James Bond movies were these cheesy oneliners, the over the top action, the gadgets, the women, the russians, etc. When they removed that from Craig's movies, it turned into generic movies., and not very good ones.
