Eh, I assume they're just working on stuff. Progress on software is slow moving - it's why products take years to come out (especially games). It's a no-win situation, honestly - have weekly updates, and people ignore them, because they're boring because there's nothing major to show, or skip...

I'd get rid of any DPS class. Should be tank/healer/support (or classes that are a mix - I had some real fun groups with two druids sharing healing duties). Everyone is DPS.

Yeah, I was expecting something more. We knew what they had was cobbled together at best. We knew it was volunteers. We knew Joppa was trying to "right the ship" - him being anal and treating it like A Real Thing goes together. I thought maybe we'd get some "Brad got volunteers to pay him...

Given how every MMO released after EQ has a life-span of 3-6 months (my personal interest is usually around 2 months) before a noticeable drop off occurs, I can't fathom paying more than the box price. If I'm still really into it after a few months, I have no problem dumping more cash into it.

Ditto - boring internal business apps here. From my POV, I like that Unity3D lets me do C# (which is what I've done the past 10 years). Sounds like Unity3D costs more upfront, but if your game got mega-successful, Unreal4 would cost more long-term. I wonder what the Source2 cost will end up...
