This isn't a rumor. Salim came on KTAM and said that Brad paid himself like 4 times as much as anyone else on the team despite doing jack shit. (granted, after seeing the video we can be sure that rest of the team didn't exactly earn their money either, but still - they did more than Brad)

This seems like a completely pointless project to me when P99 has existed as long as it has. I mean, a lot of the non-classic aspects of P99 make it a better experience. I wish the developers interested in classic EQ like this would just make their own game using classic EQ as a base.

P99 released Kunark because it is part of the original timeline, not to help Rangers. The idea that everyone should be able to solo is one of the biggest reasons contemporary MMOs are shit.

Probably not. The MMOs that have made a ton of money have done it by targeting people with average-to-below-average PCs that weren't generally into PC games. VR is never going to be mainstream enough for it to be the next big MMO thing.

Seems like it's probably a decent game if you treat it like a single player title. I had fun with TOR, but it wasn't really an MMO. It would appear it's the same with this.

He said Brad got paid 3 times more than he did, and he was the highest paid developer. And he implied that Brad did basically nothing.

I thought he said it came out to 159 or so when he added it up via the bank statement.

He just said the number was accurate as well. And if anything the site showed a lower number than it should have.
