Wrapped this up last night after binging all 3 seasons the last couple weeks. What a terrific show. Hope they continue but... The last 3 episodes alone in season 3 make this worth watching in entirety. Great writing and story progression. One thought I had:

I've said this before - D2Y1 was intentional. They had to dumb the entire game down in order to get to Forsaken. It was not a fuck up by anyone... they needed to clean up their content and delivery pipelines and introduce new systems slowly while gathering critical metrics and data at scale...

Ninja Janet was the best. This season has definitely been good and for a show that honestly probably had a single season shelf life, it's kept things very interesting. Worth watching.

Yeah, they don't really hold your hand there. It's backwoods ass rape land until about 530-540. Even at 553 I still get my shit pushed in by things, especially solo when the factions are warring against each other and there are yellow bars everywhere.

It's definitely great. It's a very well done expansion so far, almost 3 weeks in. There is a ton of stuff to do, it's almost overwhelming and I'm sitting at a power level of 545 as casualcore player. I would recommend getting it if you like the game. Can't say that won't diminish with time...

Destiny 3 will be a console iteration. Don't mistake a console bump and tech leaps for cash grabs. Sometimes it's just easier to force people into a new experience than backport everything out the gate.

Finished campaign, hit 50 and unlocked the Dreaming City attunement. Great story and there is a metric ton of shit to do, I’m actually impressed. They did a good job with this one.

The Paris chase was pretty damn good, didn't catch those nods but in thinking back I can totally see the influences now. I was mostly impressed by the lack of dramatic music during most of the action sequences, especially the bathroom, the paris chase and the helicopter scenes.

This was thoroughly enjoyable and a great summer action film. 8.5/10 and full of non stop action.

To be fair, some of these seem game breaking. They are definitely going the "You want crazy? Okay, hold my beer." route. I have hope based on the recent changes they made to armor.

The only way i see that working is if you rework the story to be more of a flashback type or multi timeline presentation. Problem with that is you lose a lot of the good set up pieces impact for the later portion of the book.

It's been explained I think, basically any weapon in any slot but they share ammo bricks. So shotgun will use power ammo regardless of slot.

So Destiny 2 did a cool thing this weekend. Limited exotic weapon event that ran Friday to Monday resets and granted people that completed it the Black Hammer exotic from D1 basically. I couldn't get it but got close, looking forward to knocking this out this weekend when it comes back.
