End game builds never use full sets, so you doing it right. Slot the skills you want and and use the wishlist for what you working towards. Once you hit high rank everything you have is pointless.

2000 hours using lances, switch it up. Sword and shield in world is super satisfying.

Try lance it feels great, almost forget this is rise and while I am MR 6 I barely scratched the surface of the expansion.

Only relation to a souls game is it can be brutal but fair and without a guide you can miss important and powerful stuff. way more action RPG once you get some levels.
