Good time to try a different build as well, the micro systems in this game add up to some really interesting levels of play styles. Max boost/evade pile bunker is still my favorite.

Compared to one, DD2 world is huge but NPCs are far less interesting, it also has way more enemies so instead of roaming around it is fight to fight to fight making the world less interesting as well. I am about to try a solo run because if they take control of my character to force a high five...

Apparently that is learned behavior, if you jump off cliffs they will too. Same as picking up enemies and throwing them at each other. Not sure if you can undo learned behavior but worth a shot.

Couple of escort quests lead to a Dragon fighting a Cyclops... Dragon won, I killed the dragon with some serious doing on my part and used almost all my curatives... I then see some ballistas scattered around...doh... Proceed up a mountain to run into one of the equally coolest and fucked up...

Archer is fun so far, the dead shot is insane. It rag dolls everything except giants and slimes, the explosive shot upgrades to where you climb giants and stab it directly into them for huge damage, I one shot a minotaur with it as well so they clearly have a super weak point as well.

Running around at night…ogre drop kicks me out of no where…grabs the women and sprints into the darkness… zombies show up mid fight because I am getting bodied and kiting it around. The goblins and some wolves join in…the wolves knock me down and drag me 100 yards away to more wolves!!! Ogre...

How far you get? Early stuff is straight forward but once you climbing giants and fighting stuff that can beat your ass it comes alive. That and unlocking more attacks and spells.

This engine... never liked it. Movement feels either too slow or too fast, good thing you have to try to jump off edges. Other than find RC in treasure chests I have no other complaints. If you liked the first one this one is more of that. Definitely feels more like a remake than a sequel but...

Going archer into magic archer…I think, with pure offensive mage pawn. Unless they balanced warrior I remember them being mostly shit until 80% in. The taunt barely worked, couldn’t really take more hits than anyone else etc. Weakspot damage and climbing on large creatures effectively is king so...
