It’s still slow though. End game gear needs some move speed on it. Every time I reset I’ve got to run through a bunch of shit to even get to the start of a dungeon then through a few levels of it. That’s all fine I’d just rather be able to do it faster.

Kiting is definitely part of the game. There are some skill mechanics but usually hard fights are either face tank or kite. There are some real gang rape boss combos in SR that even my warlord has to kite.

It's a lot slower which is neither good nor bad, just different. Killling takes longer but getting killed also takes more time so combat feels a bit less frenetic. The pace and the single player offline style are the two main things that are most different to PoE.

Never played D3. GD is pretty close to what I would’ve expected as a sequel to D2 though, the van helsing vibe nonwithstanding. Still a very similar in overall ambiance.

The movement being slower and not one shotting everything on screen was pretty jarring after PoE but the lack of having to be an ADD monkey and move every half a second or die provides a decent counter to it.

The first rule of arpg’s, always max resists. The only thing to really watch out for in this game is making sure that you don’t equip damage conversion gear that looks good stat wise but doesn’t match the builds damage type.
