You can heal dungeons as a THM all the way up to manor at least. Assuming you don't run out of MP, and especially if it has that stance system, I imagine it will be just as doable with an Arcanist.

I'm a little confused - if you select Black Mage as your job, I thought you could also use THM and PUG abilities. Is that not the case?

Which is why I said it was luck based. The antidote has a 3 minute cd - the poison can get applied multiple times in that cooldown interval, so if you get unlucky you simply can't survive it as a THM.

Did anyone try the quest "Duty, Honor, Country" as a THM? Ridiculously difficult (found it was luck based on the timing of being poisoned) since you can't get cure from Gridania before you complete it..

That was it - beyond retarded. I couldn't even just unequip the second loadout, had to manually equip every slot to be the same as loadout 1. Only then could I sell the items.

The few quests this could apply to are very much optional (no lasting character benefit etc), so it's not as if TSW revolves around this kind of gameplay. It is simply a little extra that builds upon the excellent 'investigation quests', moving away from the standard kill 10 bears style of MMO.

Fully encourage people to try this. The PVE is fantastic; a real thinking man's game. This remains the only game I have had to go back over university Physics notes in order to solve a quest!

Lol it appears I am a retard. It took me another 20 minutes of attempting to click on the tree with my finger, but I can confirm the ring is still there! Looting things is definitely the most frustrating thing about playing the game on iPad.

Anyone else playing this on iPad? Kind of nice to play in bed, although the touchscreen interface can be a little annoying sometimes. Also, they appear to have removed the hidden Ring of Wizardry from the tree!
