If the AI works differently per mob type I think it sounds pretty interesting. Sounds like you'll have to pay closer attention to mob type and see if you can establish a pattern to their action/reactions so you know for the future. I guess my concern is that if tanks aren't "required" then that means everyone can take hits, and if that's the case, why wouldn't everyone roll dps. And at that point, your group is now just six people soloing the same mob. Maybe I'm just not imaginative enough.
