I don't think the engine necessarily needs an overhaul but rather classic era class reworks and re-itemization and dungeon overhauls is what it needs. I also don't get why they haven't upscaled older graphics like you can do on eqemu servers with 4x HD textures which look a lot better.

See shit like FF7 Remake and now D2 Remastered which both will make a fuck ton of money. If something similar were done with EQ it would also make millions. They'd be pretty fucking stupid not to do something of the sort.

Ya heh. Decent place to start is NK and just swarm every wisp you can find, there's lots of em. Can make a ton of plat while you level to like 13 then can hit orc highway just gotta avoid the priests.

They unnerfed bard kiting a bit from 4 mobs to 25 so if you know how to do that, it's your best way to level by a long shot. It's quite easy to learn honestly if you don't know how, especially once you get the level 18 song.
