    Arcade Machines

I almost bought one once, small arcade went out of business. I just didn't quite have the cash flow to do it and a buddy of mine and I were going to go 50/50 on it but we just didn't go through with it.

    Board Games

I tried stuff like that too before. There is a site specifically for finding people to play board games, it isn't boardgamegeek, but another one similar to a 'dating site'. I also tried craigslist and some others. I had a few people interested but I just didn't go through with it in the end...

Feeling a bit lazy so not trying to search it out but: Does anyone know of an NES version of something like Project64k? (play emulated games multiplayer via internet). I've played a lot of like Mario64 through that client and other things but I've never seen or known a straight up NES...

Also on Heroquest a few things: There is a readily available Torrent with EVERYTHING heroquest available in PDF format to print out, and if you are creative enough, you can effectively have, well, everything Heroquest if you know what I mean. Also, there is an exact replica of HQ available...

I'm officially jealous as fuck. I guess I was probably looking at more 'mint' copies of things, but like I think just the Elf Solo Exp. was like $750 by itself.

    Board Games

Roughly 4-5 years ago I bought a still shrink-wrapped copy of Heroquest for $130 on Ebay and I started looking to buy the expansions. I stopped tallying it up after it went over $5k and I wasn't even done finding all of them. Not saying someone couldn't just buy them all regardless, but to...

    DOTA 2

Sniper is pretty cheesy with this mode for last hitting if the people can time the assassinate correctly.

You must be incredibly well off financially IRL to just go ahead and 'pick up all the expansions'. That's a minimum of like $5,000.

    DOTA 2

Just logged into a 2nd account I opened a while back and see that I have 6 invites available, so, just throwing it out there, if anyone needs one or has a friend that needs one, send me a PM.

    Suggestion for amazing LAN games?

Diablo 2, hardcore. I've done an all-nighter with some friends on LAN starting at level 1 and playing straight through. It is a blast until @ 4AM one of your friends dies and then he has to sit out

Erection Day, Smoke the Polls with Cock Suffrage!

Having used the internet for so long has made seeing dicks irrelevant. I just scroll on passed and don't care anymore. However, I voted with the masses.

    Board Games

Settlers of Catan is the single greatest board game ever created for one reason: EVERYONE likes it. I've never had a friend/girlfriend-who-hates-board-games/relative/ANYONE who doesn't love playing Settlers after their first game. That's all about Settlers. It's the best board game period...

River City Ransom mentioned multiple times and I agree a million times over, that game is mega awesome. Most of my NES gaming was done obviously at a young age and I played w/ my cousin basically every co-op game possible. RCR was easily one of the best out of those until the SNES came around.

EQ F2P- Returning Players & Current Content

You only need 6 people in your group and they can be offline people. So you + 5 offline level 1 characters will get you into Anguish.

It was. And it was amazing. Was Blades of Steel on Genesis? The one where you could fight a whole shit load? I think it was.

    Nintendo Entertainment System

After I watched the one dude's "speed run" of Blaster Master I lost, for some reason, a lot of respect for the game, because I thought it was so awesome back then. Suddenly someone found a bunch of exploits and beat the entire game in like 20 minutes or something retard mode stupid.

Metal Gear. Whoa. I borrowed this cartridge from my friend who lived a few blocks away. I couldn't beat it so he came over one weekend for a "slumber party" with a few other friends and we all beat it together. Kid Icarus was also pretty awesome. Played that a shit ton with the same...

The thing about the next few DW games was you got a bigger party and they followed you around and shit. Honestly DW2 and 3 were pretty badass as far as I remember. Now that we're talking DW, also, Breath of Fire 1 & 2. More RPGs I need to go back and re-live. edit: Now that I think of...

First time I played Final Fantasy 1, I just received the FF1 Nintendo Power and I was sick with the Flu so my mom of course excused me from school and she went to "Video Land", our local movie/game rental place and rented it for me. Still one of my favorites to this day just because of that for...

Star Tropics gave you a secret code in the instruction book that you needed to beat the game. Fucking amazing game. There was no Google to find the code back then. If you didn't keep your instruction book, you had to call the Nintendo Hotline and pay like $20 for a long-distance call to get...

EQ F2P- Returning Players & Current Content

I'd heavily consider re-installing if I thought for even 1 second I could be in a dedicated group of people to do "group content". I have a 95/4k+ SK with t2/t3 VoA raid gear and I just got so damn bored of EQ again I just couldn't take it. I don't even want to raid anymore or be at the "high...

I'd like to see if this thread will generate interest and talk about strictly old-school straight up NES games. I'll start with a game I still play at least once every month or two. Romance of the Three Kingdoms. This game is so fucking awesome. It has insane strategy that was way...

    DOTA 2

If you play in the morning US hours, say, anywhere around 9AM EST - 1PM EST, you will get a lot of BRs and Russians and it makes it really awful. The first few months I joined Dota2 I had a burning hatred for the BRs and it actually has completely shifted to the Russians. I actually don't mind...

Hardest Boss Fights (No MMO shit please)

Ninja Gaiden 2, Jaquio. I've never beaten it legitimately in my life and I've tried many, many times. The only way I beat him was with Save-State option on an Emulator where I tried him about 50 times in a row. I remember the last time I tried as a kid on the NES I got to him without losing...
