What incentive do you have to crawl rather than sitting at a camp within someone pulling to the camp while you wait for a named to spawn?

That's one of the few things i actually really like about EQ1 now. You still have the big zones for camping (with the occasional dungeon revamp - they need to stop fucking around and provide updated Seb) but you also have the missions and heroic adventures which are kind of similar to WoW's...

Over the last 6 or 7 expansions, enchanters have gotten quite a few powerful and stackable runes, etc.. Turn off spell casting subtlety AA (makes aggro even easier to maintain now) and they can tank like a champ by debuffing, dotting and then chain casting their runes. If the NPC is stunnable...

Engaging is entirely too subjective due to personal preference, but yeah, a lot of WoW's harder content is way harder than EQ's harder content.

I think most of the people who want this game feel the same way, however there in a small, vicious and overwhelmingly vocal minority over on their boards who want every single mechanic that was in classic EQ to be in Pantheon.
