I seriously doubt that many people believe that Brad is trying to lure people in to steal their money, if he was then he is pretty fucking incompetent at it; he could be milking a lot more out of their site. Whether he can deliver is the real question.

I couldn't care less if they use asset store assets for the environment as long as it looks good, especially knowing it's a small team who has already stated they are using asset store assets and will be replacing at least some of them. To me this is no more of an issue than Hollywood overusing...

What are they passing off as their own? They have been pretty steadfast in their assertions about placeholder assets. Now i am curious.....i have pretty much stopped following the game.

I know it's inconceivable, but most of my guild is actually happy about it, most of them (myself included, if i still played) are glad they will have something to do that lasts longer than the first 2-3 days.

The genre really isn't my cup of tea, but like No Country for Old Men, I watched it last night and enjoyed it, Jeff Bridges did a great job.

They got some seed funding, but Brad has repeatedly stated they are still looking for an investor.

Little upside? They are crowdfunding while looking for investors, they could significantly increase their income if they released some information on a semi consistent basis like some of the other more successful crowdfunded games. It doesn't have to be a show us thing, they don't need to...

Not sure on other classes, but no new activated aa for wizard; all are passive. Think that's pretty much the theme for this expansion. Each class gets one or two new lines with the rest being extensions to existing lines or spell focus.

Just one class is going to be a mad stupid long list if you include the focus AA

It's going to be a reskinned EQ or close to it with some new ideas. So far they have given us a glimpse of the colored mana system and the perception system. Would be nice if they would provide more frequent updates like other studios who crowdfund but Brad is special.

I think they have a really good foundation, it's not a bad game at this point; i have played about 20 hours so far and have enjoyed it so far. I like the gameplay and was pleasantly surprised with the graphics, now i am waiting to see what features they add on top of the bug fixes.

I would wait a bit unless you actually enjoy alpha testing. The game has potential but as others have mentioned, it's buggy.

Then what animations did they use on their new model? They just reskin a unity store model? And after looking at the video again, it looks like they are moving a lot faster which would make the slow clunky animations seem better. Just read the thread, yeah they had him sped up.

I wouldn't go so far to say the new model is amazing by any stretch of the imagination but the animations were definitely better. Iit's an improvement to the Unity Store assets they have been using. I can live with it.

Yeah, Lay on hands seriously makes it easy mode, especially with how fast faith regens. Had to stop at 35, tired of grinding on levels 1-16 (if i could even find npcs, went like 15 minutes without finding npcs, not even a fucking bat), made me feel like the WoW episode where they all leveled up...

Paladin is crazy op right now. Have a level 33 with less than 2 hours played. Made that after making a non-healer for my first toon.
