    Fortnite - Epic Games - Team Survival/Strategy/Crafting/Combat

Solo Showdown leaderboards currently show the #1 player with 4881 points. That pretty much means he won 47 / 50 games. I can't even wrap my head around how ridiculous that is.

    Fortnite - Epic Games - Team Survival/Strategy/Crafting/Combat

Been dominating Solo Showdown. Best guess is that it's attracted a lot of players that don't usually play solo and have no idea how to win alone. Every now and then I'll bump into someone who knows what they're doing, but for the most part it's been scrub city. I just glide and lol at people...

Is Rock dying or already dead?

I believe the pendulum of music taste always swings back and forth. Right now it's about as far away from rock as possible, but eventually there will be shift back to authentic music.; real musicians with instruments and passion. It won't sound like anything before it, but we'll get there...

    Fortnite - Epic Games - Team Survival/Strategy/Crafting/Combat

I've won a lot of games on PS4. Here are some of my top tips (in order from start of match to Victory Royale) 1) Change your control scheme to Builder Pro. It's like putting a cheat code into the game. 2) Use the pre-match lobby to start planning your drop spot and pre-edit your building...

    Fortnite - Epic Games - Team Survival/Strategy/Crafting/Combat

Thanos mode is hilarious. Everyone's IQ seems to have dropped 50-100 points. I essentially have carte blanche to run around murdering people -- players just stand around staring at Thanos as he jumps around. Just killed 9 people in about 3 minutes without even trying particularly hard.

Also, the Battle Pass costs V-Bucks (in-game currency), but as you level up in the Battle Pass, you earn more V-bucks -- enough to buy the next season's Battle Pass. I only spent money on the first Battle Pass and the V-Bucks I earned allowed me to buy season 3 and season 4.

    Fortnite - Epic Games - Team Survival/Strategy/Crafting/Combat

Battle Royale is completely free. You don't need to buy anything. There's a base Fortnite game that's PVE and costs $, but that's probably not what he wants to play.

The drop @1:49:20 to Overwerk's Canon is probably the most hype I've ever been watching someone stream Fortnite. That was amazing.

    Fortnite - Epic Games - Team Survival/Strategy/Crafting/Combat

The theory has shifted a bit recently. For a long while, it was thought the meteor in the sky was going to crash into Tilted Towers. That theory came from some bad actors creating false conspiracy theories. After a recent patch, a meteor-like object appeared in the sky and controllers started...

Sniping on PS4 isn't exactly easy or sexy, but I put together a compilation of some of my best snipes in the past 6 months. Please enjoy!

Sniper LTM is back, but the revolver has been removed, and so has knockdown. If you pop someone, they're dead. No option to revive. Awesome change.

Game Over, Man - 5/10 Workaholics made a dumb-as-shit lampoon on the mid-90s action thriller movie (Die Hard). It's really uneven but there's a handful of scenes that are actually damn funny. Lots of ridiculous gore. Tons of cameos. Lots of penises. Streaming on Netflix right now.

I loathe Ninja's shtick, but sweet Jesus is that guy insane at Fortnite. The creativity in play he brings to the table plus his raw aggression makes him must-watch. The things he does with impulse grenades makes my head spin.

Retro Game of the Month February 2018: Secret of Mana (SNES)

Had a similar experience. Adventure was the second game I ever bought with my own money. I think I was maybe 8 or 9 years old. No idea why I bought it -- I guess the box art looked cool? The most in-depth game I had played prior to Adventure was probably Super Mario Bros. 3. But holy shit was I...

    What vehicle do you drive?

Take a look at Mazda for midsize SUV. They've been crushing it lately. CX-9 is probably most comparable to the Grand Cherokee but the CX-5 could be a more wallet-friendly choice without sacrificing too much. Mazda is doing a good job of giving both their interiors and exteriors a luxury-lite...

Poll January's Retro Game of the Month

With fewer and fewer platform exclusives, I feel like nobody really gives a shit what console you have now. But goddamn, remember the arguments that used to take place over which console was superior? That shit would bordeline come to blows. I grew up with an SNES but my neighbor had a Genesis...

Legend of the Mystical Ninja won't win, but it's easily my favorite game from this list. Gorgeous game that perfectly combines a lot of interesting elements from different genres with a boatload of awesome mini-games mixed in. Hell, they have Gradius as a mini-game. That blew my mind back in '95...

    Fortnite - Epic Games - Team Survival/Strategy/Crafting/Combat

50v50 is fantastic. If both teams are organized, the final fort-building showdown is truly spectacular. I've had some games where we go 25v25 down to some tight storm circles and the battles that ensued were legendary. Epic is extremely receptive to community feedback and are actively...

    Fortnite - Epic Games - Team Survival/Strategy/Crafting/Combat

I haven't been this obsessed with a game since vanilla WoW. Battle Royale has my soul. Kinda surprised it isn't getting more traction on these forums but I guess PUBG scratches the more hardcore itch that's found on FoH.

    Wonder Woman (2017)

7/10. Hums along at a brisk pace without any major lag time or dead scenes. Pine stole the movie for me; perfect combo of aw-shucks and badassery. Great comic relief without feeling forced, especially the scene on the boat. Gadot was serviceable albeit a bit flat. She excelled when she wasn't...

    Horizon: Zero Dawn

Agree 100%. Super bizarre that they crush just about everything else out of the park, but completely whiffed on this mechanic. I've died twice now where I'm making a crazed escape across a river, only to find that the 6 foot embankment on the other side is un-climbable. I end up hopping up and...

    Horizon: Zero Dawn

Plugged about 4 hours in yesterday. It's really a joy to play -- everything feels fluid and intuitive. I'm yet to encounter a single bug or hiccup, besides some brief fog pop-in during a cutscene. I'm only playing on a standard PS4 at 1080, but it still looks amazing. I spent a good minute just...

Finally got this for Xmas. I know it's been echoed in this thread already, but I don't think I was fully prepared for the initial difficulty curve.
