It does seem like you'll have to "find" it (or rather be ruthlessly evil). I agree with whomever said we all start "neutral" so unless the DE lore changes drastically the 8 choices for starting class have all go to be neutral classes (Warrior/Wizard/Blah/Blah).

Well with respect to skills there are 4 base class skills but also 4 or 8 class specific weapon skills. I don't want a lot of racial restrictions but one or two would be appropriate if they have useful racial abilities.

Sure but the Kerran 4-legged sprint was noted as a racial ability during the reveal. So most likely it's a faster/better/stronger sprint.
