Is it possible to hook a USB keyboard + mouse up to the PS3 and play it that way? Or are you just stuck with the gamepad on PS3? PC can barely run this (esp. in dense areas), but obviously the PS3 runs fine. Or do I need to just get used to the gamepad setup if I go and play on PS3 untill I can...

Well the game runs infinitly better on my PS3 than it does on my PC,.. but the gamepad is just messy. I couldn't even figure out how to get my other actions onto my bar with a controller

Thanks for making me spit out my beer laughing. It's an old beast, I got it when I LotRO came out, but it can still run this decently enough to play. Hoping the PS3 version is more viable.

Guess I can't really complain about it running sluggish on my dual core 2.4g, 4GB ram and a GeFroce 9800 GT.. Thing is over 6 years old nowStill runs, and is playable... But I might have to try it on the PS3.

Just returned my Wii U to best buy today for a refund. Played through the Mario U game for a few days, then never touched the thing. Maybe in a year or so when the price hopefully drops and they have a little better game base I'll get one again. Cool little system, but almost zero appeal right now.

What's your point? I never once said that Final Fantasy at all is hard. I simply showed the ease it is to break FF8 compared to the others, due to a completely broken system. No one is complaining about being OP in a boss fight... We are bitching about a terrible system.

Any serious person who plays FF8 stops drawing magic around the same time you take the train to the next continent and get the whole "Laguna" dream thing. Sure a few things you will draw, but cards are the easiest way to go. Esp. since you can, without any real effort, build a deck so early on...

Really isn't a whole lot to the old carts. Mostly just casing. The only real problem I have ever had with my old NES and SMS 8-bit carts are dead batteries for save games. Even that has been a rare issue. ( I had one copy of Phantasy Star for the Sega Master System the wouldn't save.)

I use PCSX2 for PS2 EMU. Still need a pretty beefy computer to run things. (FFX has some lag for me. Sound gets choppy. Then again I'm only running a dual core)
