GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

the theories i've heard that Jons army will be close to losing the battle, but LF and vale will ride in to save the day, and pledge themselves to Sansa as queen, sounds plausible. also, it was painfully obvious that stuff like 'hold the door', bran meeting the night king etc. was pure GRRM...

GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

some people actually managed to predict it years ago though, even if not under those circumstances.case in point also wondering if the presence of weirwood trees at those scenes with the night king also mean that similar things will happen in the books too, considering bran can only see the...

too bad he hasn't really commented on the events in the show. he mostly seems to post on his blog and twitter about how salty he is regarding sad puppies, and 90% of the replies he gets to his tweets are "WRITE THE BOOK".

GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

too bad they seem to be skipping out on arya's warging. also the tower of joy felt way less epic than in the book. should've kept 7v3 instead of 6v2, and extended the scene by removing that embarrassing conversation with tyrion and greyworm and melissandre. also seems completely against dayne's...

GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

jaime was a great character in the books, in the tv series he started down that path but has now been reduced to the sidelines. the way jon has been handled so far has been so bland and disjointed. but it's good to see the show making quick steps towards the real conflict.

I don't quite see why ramsay would kill roose. it's been pretty hammered in the books that ramsay is only a sadistic brute, but it is his father who is truly frightening. "The son is just the shadow of the father..."

Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian's new CRPG in the vein of Baldur's Gate

If you liked the main game, I'd say yes, there's some 20 or so hours of gameplay in the expansions, depending on difficulty etc. a decent storyline and high level boss fights.

Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian's new CRPG in the vein of Baldur's Gate

The second expansion was a pretty decent follow up to the first part, an ok continuation of the story, some challenging fights for high levels etc. but overall the game doesn't really make me want to play it several times, unlike the infinity engine games. although there are plenty of...

    Shadowrun Returns

Finished the Hong Kong follow-up campaign, overall still felt a bit "meh", not on the level of dragonfall in terms of characters, writing etc. basically a few extra quests and tying up some lose ends. most of the characters (NPCs etc) just seem annoying, aside from maybe Racter and Gaishu.

The wolfpack (2015) was a pretty interesting watch. A father who basically keeps his family locked in a new york apartment, until some of his 6 sons start growing up and needing to explore the outside world, which they've more or less only experienced via watching tons of movies.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Decent film, but quite underwhelming considering all the praise and rave online. A bit too many throwbacks, another deathstar plot, another droid with vital information. Felt a bit like that there was no real point to all the previous movies. The empire never really went away, and now the...

    Fallout 4

It's not necessarily about hiring more writers and designers. I don't think obsidian had many more writers than Bethesda, but they showed that if you have competent people who really care about a product, you can push out much more compelling storylines and game-mechanics, which is why New Vegas...

    Shadowrun Returns

Hong Kong was a solid game, but the story narrative seemed to rely a bit too much on just rehashing elements that worked for dragonfall. old man having started something a long time ago with which he has grievances etc. also the text in the game could have used some editing to shorten it down.

A pretty good effort so far, and they definitely made decking more interesting. In some ways the story does feel a bit more rail-roaded than dragonfall, at least so far in the beginning. otherwise, solid. never had any problems with bugs in these games.

There are always possibilities for error, whether it is an enzyme putting nucleic acids in a certain order, or a person standing by a conveyor belt assessing product quality. It's because it's all chemistry in the end, nanobots too. They might decrease error in DNA replication, but not...
