I'm on the fence about rolling ice trap saboteur just cause it seems like it will level up quick and blow up everything in the maps and shaper elder/uber really fast. The trouble is it will be dogshit for delving and maybe new new content as it's an unknown at this point. urgghh decisions..

You can't bounce back from a massive hit, you take the hit and either get one shot or move someplace safe and flask up/regen. Play pathfinder for flasks or take Soul of Ryslatha from the pantheon for the refill every 3 seconds if you haven't been hit and it's upgrade for the extra life amount.

I normally get patched a couple of hours beforehand.. When it's done i just join the queue thingy.

If you want to sustain life you will want life regen and flasks. And the pantheon that refills flask for single targets if you expect to get a few good hits on you.

CI is really nice if you can take it. Probably work out pretty expensive to make a CI trickster, though you can fossil craft nice ES/evasion bases and save tons of money. The new nodes look great for it.

I played it without a quillrain and it was pretty good through the acts - blows up all the bosses and the scorpoids so overpowered it still clears screens without it. You really don't need 40 stacks in the acts.

Occultist rocks with HoAg apparently and you could boss easier with 10k es couldn't you? shadows got little in the way of defences. Depends on your playstyle and how experienced you are with the mobs.

Are you going to be able to mod this cause the real beauty of Torchlight 2 was from the modding community making a good game into a an excellent game. Synergies mod was amazing - the raid tiers at the end are really really hard.

I'm pretty hyped overall, I like the look of this board game type thing and what we can do with it, crafting looks good, new skills to mess about with. Finger's crossed it will be better than betrayal, which was a bit of a letdown from a gameplay perspective.

I'm gonna give the chaos occultist a punt with one of the 2 new skills, not doing some off the shelf build guide thing this time. That stuff gets' hyped and is expensive. None of them do what i want in the mine anyway so need replanning anyhow if i made one.
