I'm honestly not a great Constructed player, unless I've played dozens or hundreds of games with a deck. Draft, I'd put myself up with the best drafters in the world, especially in limited formats where 3-5 color decks are the norm.

Every set on Arena now has a supplemental set of 'Arena Only' cards that can do things that paper cards can't really do easily, like conjure other cards, or perpetually alter cards even once they've changed zones, etc. They're very Hearthstone-inspired mechanics. But unlike paper cards, if...

There were quite a few, but I tuned the shit out of this list specifically to ladder-grind. The thing about Alchemy is that it is filled with broken, Hearthstone-like cards, and tournament results/decklists are scarce with being Arena-only and mostly Arena Ladder-only. It's one of the few...

Lots of cantrips and other shit. This was from an earlier iteration of the deck before I completely demolished the format. This was from Standard Alchemy, so regular Standard + the Arena-only Alchemy cards associated with those sets.

I quit MTG cold turkey after breaking top #25 mythic with my Oracle of the Alpha/Clockmaker/Reality Chip deck. It's never going to get better than chaincasting the power 9 off the top of my deck. Call me when the Phyrexians come back.

Sure it will, as long as they can still sell mounts and pets. Fortnite is a PvP game. LoL, CoD BR, etc, all PvP games. This idea is just a very large BR/DOTA mashup with a much longer session length.

I didn't say 100% PvP. I said basically a giant game of DOTA. There would be creeps to kill, forts to take defend or take down, but also people to fight.

I found it. They founded a company called Climax Online that was building a Warhammer Online. That project collapsed after they burned through a ton of money, never even made it into alpha. Mythic then bought the license and started over. The Warhammer Online released by EA/Mythic had no...

They don't state the European copies sold after 2003, but the game was about equally popular in Europe as it was in the US, so let's just say around 1 to 1.2 million copies sold. It had roughly the same number of active players as Everquest in 2006, had 7 expansions, and despite Mythic...

Every game I listed PvP was a major part of the game, and by your definition, any MMO that isn't WoW is a tiny niche game? And even WoW continually goes back and forth on how much gear affects PvP. So what game ARE you talking about?

    General Gaming News and Discussion

PvP is pretty fun so far in SoD... Anyway, your point is invalid. DAoC, SWG, EVE, UO, ArcheAge, arguably AION, even Lineage, none of these match your description. Warhammer Online was almost great if Mythic hadn't fucked up a few small things that ruined the whole game (like a really shitty...

A PvP MMO that resets monthly and awards some tiny amount of persistent progression to the winning faction after every month could work. Basically a month-long game of DOTA. 3-5 factions maybe.

Yes, but at least you're getting feedback when pieces fall off. And that's still way too bullet spongey, there's only 2 parts to shoot off... I'm talking like giant bosses with lots of things to shoot off. Weapons, 'eyes' that make it worse at aiming, etc. Also adds, many whelps.
  26. Mist

    General Gaming News and Discussion

Why can't they just make bosses that you've gotta shot lots of different parts off of? Armor plates, eyeballs, weapons, etc. Make it like HZD where you can shoot off their weapons and use them as heavy weapons until they run out of ammo.
