So I started a NG+ Right after I completed all the bosses, but I want to go back and play the DLC right away, my NG+ is only still at firelink barely, am I going to have to replay the whole game to play the DLC?

For someone who has played 0 civ games except like 15 minutes of Civ 1, How is this game and how hard is it to get into/pick up? I like complex world building but this looks intimidating.

This reminds me of an old ass Dos/Windows game I used to play called Project Nomad, it had basically all these elements and a massive galaxy to explore, plus quite a bit or storyline. It also makes me miss the old EVE online drama threads on Rerolled/FoH. I loved reading about those games...
