That's true. Twitch chat is also very much this one thing. But, as we ourselves are very familiar with, communities can move. Not entirely, but enough to render those left behind a thing of the past. And new ones are bound to show up if it became the new thing. I'm not too sure about twitch...

I think YouTube would change that up real quick if they had as many streamers generating lots of hours of video every day like twitch does. They must have a much better setup to deal with that but it can only go so far, its not infinite. Edit: What YouTube could do is offer some kind of easy...
