It is coming back around. Today at the Blizzcon NA qualifier event the dominating decks were agro, mostly beating the slow control decks. Which makes sense, the way to win control vs control is to make your deck slower and slower. Eventually stuff like Zoo just kills you if you keep doing that.

WCA tournament has been crazy. 30 > 0 kill combos. Top 4 all missed lethal in multiple games. Undefeated Shaman deck of all things (8-0 so far).

They are all kind of focused around gaming. Hitbox, Twitch's kind of competitor, is basically a carbon copy but has the same policy that you have to focus on gaming. Google hangouts and some software to capture your desktop as a webcam can certainly do this though, if the group is small enough.

There isn't a fixed time for the tournament, the community voted a couple of tournaments back to play as you have time. So you only need to coordinate with your opponent. Tournaments usually take about a week to finish up with this model.
