    Devs had no problem with Anakin Skywalker scenario totally switching from one to other due to whatever. Only issue was simultaneous SK/P abilities on the hotbar. But again, Talisker was specific that it wasn't decided.

    Generally you can do it - Talisker said the are thinking of a few specific very limited limitations such as Paladin/SK abilities not being allowed. Stuff that is totally opposite. Not decided but IMHO he didn't seem to like the idea of having both P/SK abilities at the same time.

    Devs gave example of can't break into tier 3 (down) if you don't have a tier 3 pick. No idea if that was serious or not. I think if SOE does this right it is WoW Vanilla/EQ 1999 - you have to play it. Even Dumar and Ut are going to end up playing it.

    Think of levels 1-10 as tier 1. levels 11-20 as tier 2. Etc. But tiers are a combination of abilities, achievements and gear. Instead of being granted level 11, you have to earn it by acquiring the right things.

    nope. Different gear means different abilities. If you're rocking elvish ranger armor you have different abilities then me in my qeynos armor. It seems yo be mtg as noted earlier by lithos or lenas I think eqn will be huge. As I said before reveal eq1 only folks may hate it but whatever

    You're not getting it. To make the best cleric possible in the game takes forever. You have to get the right gear, right weapons, right spells, right abilities. Nothing is handed to you.

    Yep storybricks goes to both NPCs and things. Example of "Dark energy" could cause different reactions in people if you're carrying a "dark energy" item. Tried to nail down Storybricks and gods but told to wait for lore panel. Also there may be (not decided) some impossible combinations...

    Eh? There's the comment on authored content (e.g. go retrieve artifact at bottom of the mine). The fun part is figuring out how to do it. Given that the dynamics of the situation may change daily. Goblins may control. Village may control. Bandits may control. Etc.

    current answer at pool party is they are aware of issue and thinking about it. Lack of proper gear is huge hit for one thing . One option is additional benefit to someone who chooses to specialist and and doesn't multiclass. But will ask talisker tomorrow. as for slotting. Weapons...

    gear isn't fungible. Families are distinct. Maybe you need compete elven tier 3 can't mix and match with qeynos tier 3. Except for sub components which I don't have a handle. Anyway need gear and abilities to progress. Also currently 5 tiers in game.
