absolutely. give it 6, which is a big ask, and if you don't see signs of improvement then give up. Just signs that is, since it continues to get better and better

you might as well buy legacy since you can play it like normal pandemic, albeit with a few drawbacks, without going into the legacy part. Of course you'll probably want to before too long

Some other changes that are easy to miss: definitely worth reading over the rules when you have spare time to pick up any of the other small changes. They tend to blend in with the normal pandemic rules so easy to gloss over.

Such a tragic loss. I still vividly remember how he stormed through the 1995 world cup. Probably one of the first superstars of rugby union to enter my consciousness.

Ok, shits starting to hit the fan in Jun, but still mostly going well! Scored another copy for my birthday, and trying to work out how to setup another campaign. Got a group of friends that might be interested but it's a group of 5, which might break the game.

    Soccer/Footy 2015-2016

I thought it was a big achievement for Liverpool to beat Chelsea, but if we are to have any hope of getting into the champions league we have to be beating those teams stuck in the relegation fight.

Started off my campaign last night, finally. Ended up playing 4 games until 1 am! We got off to a cracker, winning the first 2 and should have won the third except we miscalculated. Finished off with another win. No doubt the shit hitting the is not far away.

The Chelsea result was easily the best possible, on so many levels! Pretty happy to see them having to run out for 120 min ahead of our game against them but that pales in comparison to seeing them go out on penalties to Stoke!

#KloppFlop! #Klopout! Seriously though, still rather toothless in attack after our injuries and coughing up relatively soft goals. Looks like Benteke is coming back which is a huge boost, but as much as we're missing Sturridge, I think we're missing Henderson more. It's hard to pinpoint...

Star Wars: Battlefront, as told by Dice on Frostbite 3 (PS4?/XBone?/PC?)

I was really hyped for this game, but after playing the beta I've become pretty meh. Actually started replaying BF4 while the beta was still in action. Still going to be good fun but definitely waiting on a deal for this one. Under $30, maybe even $20. Sadly, due to the brand and the sales that...

Got to try out Blood Rage last night and quite enjoyed it. Was first time for all of us, with 3 experienced gamers and one relative newbie. Fluffed a few rules which can be easy to miss. Like Leaders being free to invade (ok, that one shouldn't be missed!) and keeping track of how many units...

It's billed as a 4x game, and given the low unit counts, only 4 mechs a faction, seems like it's not a wargame in the usual sense, but clearly has battle as a major component. Going to try and print it out to see how it plays.

Star Wars: Battlefront, as told by Dice on Frostbite 3 (PS4?/XBone?/PC?)

I'm pretty anti DLC for all the reasons people have mentioned but I've bought all the premium's for the battlefield and got my money's worth since I played the shit out of them. For the most part they are well timed to breathe some new life into the game when it's starting to eb for me. I...

Scythe by Jamey Stegmaier Kickstarter I normally avoid Kickstarters but I'm pretty tempted by this one. I really enjoyed one of his earlier games, Viticulture and the price and shipping seems quite reasonable on this one, which is pretty damn rare.

I'm looking forward to Klopp coming in but I also wonder if perhaps he might be a tad overrated. He is probably an upgrade on Rodgers, yet I can't help but think Rodgers would be close to the same level had he won the league a few years back. ie a Manager that took a pretty talented squad and...

    The Martian (2015)

I really enjoyed it. Pretty much as faithful an adaptation as you could get. For the most part, they kept the science in there, just abbreviated due to time. Was really glad to see the humour and smart ass tone was kept since my one big worry was they'd try and make it more of an ultra serious...

    Soccer/Footy 2015-2016

I was looking at the table and thinking that things aren't that bad for Liverpool. We've scored the equal highest number of goals and while the leaky defence is a concern, that's something that could be fixed and isn't too bad when you're pounding them in like we did couple season back when we...

Grabbed Castles myself having played it plenty of times already and also owning Suburbia. I find it just that more relaxing to play than suburbia that I decided its worth having also. Still undecided about whether I'll get the expansion though. Probably depend how much I can get it for.
