Zoe lost the Overwatch gig, can’t blame her getting other gigs Made me think of a funny random story, though. She did a stint during two of the Dota Internationals really early on, like TI2 or 3,?then vanished. During one of the DOTA tournaments a few years back, the hosts were doing a bit...

Even if you don’t have a mic, a lot of players are on PC and can see the text chat I’ll usually say we should stick to main obj if we’re burning too many reinforcements and people usually acknowledge that. It’s easy to overlook how many reinforcements you actually have

    Who died? (Celebrity Deaths)

The prime demographic for those types of shows are people who were kids or teenagers during a specific time period. They usually come out 2-3 decades after the era in question, just in time for the nostalgic target audience in question to be at their prime economic buying power (which...

Nuke no. There’s no way you could detonate it close enough to literally smooth a surface. It would also irradiate the soil. Lasers would be too high an energy cost Your best bet would be sending robots that can prep a landing site

    Avatar: The Last Airbender

Watched the whole thing. After seeing the season, I suspect the real reason they took out the sexist Sokka subplot on Kyoshi Island is that it was too similar to the stuff Katara has to go through with the North Water Tribe and would have just felt like a rehash. They just reframed it during...

Chuk is actually correct. Disney was making a lot of money on those live actions until the recent string of bombs and bad press Think sports. Tax credits for filming in your state is bait that states use in the hopes that it results in supporting industry springing up in the state. Movies aren't just actors - they need people in the trades (carpentry/electrical), catering, security, artists. Also, if the location they are in...

You need automation because of lag Mars is like 15 minutes lag, the moon is like 1 second or so You’ve played online games before - 1 second lag is an eternity when timing matters

    Helldivers II

Fire weapons seem underwhelming. I’d like to see fire damage buffed vs terminids and electrical/emp buffed vs automations Rocket weapons also feel extremely situational and feel like they underperform vs the trade off for picking it as a support weapon

    Helldivers II

Evac is too hard. The mobs all target the civilians and it is too easy to get to an irrecoverable overwhelmed state, which compounds the civilian killing issue even more in addition to your team getting killed Maybe mob spawns could be tied to number of successful evacs instead vs a time based...

I was reading more on it - the area the copter tried to land was relatively uniform in appearance. Essentially just a sand dune with virtually no rocks. It’s theorized that the landing sensors, with lack of surrounding context to better judge distance, misjudged the distance to the ground and...

    Star Trek: Discovery

The choice at the end of season 2 to completely change the setting was a good choice, but they sort of squandered the setting IMO. The whole concept of the Burn was dumb. What they should have done instead is doubled down on that TNG episode that had the plot point about traveling at high warp...

Shield backpack is nice, but I like the guard rover for bug missions. The laser beam kills all the small bugs pretty fast (saving ammo) and you can kite shit with it since it keeps firing behind you even as you run and it is effectively infinite ammo.
