Arriving late to the thread, but I had this sent to me today and I think it is relevant with all the excitement about the habitable planets discovered orbiting stars in our own Milky Way.http://waitbutwhy.com/2014/05/fermi-paradox.html
I don't like the combat it this game. It feels disconnected and floaty. Graphically they seem to be doing ok, and the freedom to change classes is nice. I just don't want to play it.
I just started reading Deadpool Classic trades and they go and announce a Spiderman/Deadpool team coming this fall. I've never really been into comics, but I like the comedy they can bring in with a character that doesn't take it all so seriously.
This game is hilariously bad from what I saw in the YouTube review. Why don't smaller development companies without a lot of resources focus on a isometric game to begin with? Get a product out there that works and once you have proved yourself shoot for the moon.
Signed up for the open beta. After watching the gameplay video it seems to be something I could waste a month's time on without worrying to much about progression.
While he is spot on I can't recall Firefall being any big success. Is it even out? If you know what the problem is and still produce garbage then the industry is just too far gone. I spend more time on console or mobile gaming and I got my start online with text based MUDs.
I was living in Germany when Michael Jackson was on tour in the 80s and could hear the concert from my room in our 3rd floor apartment. Later when I came back to America for a vacation I fell asleep while on a tour of the house of representatives and they caught it on C-SPAN.
For those of us who played the original Diablo III on the PC and then switched to RoS on the PS4, what is the normal mode of progression? I beat the game on normal with a 50 mage over the weekend and then went to check out adventure mode on hard and I like that it gives me objects to do. Even...
Watched their intro movie: "We don't know exactly how it is going to come out, but it is going to be a blast!". Opportunity missed to declare "This is gonna rock!" and win the hearts and minds of...tens of people.
I don't even know how to feel about this. I had already mentally shit-canned EQ Next just based on how awful Landmark was being developed. I guess what I'm asking is why should we care that anyone wanted to save SOE?
Same exact thing happened to me. Thanks for a no impact auto rifle. What a great "gift". I can log in for Xur once a week, flip a coin as to if I want to do the nightfall, and be just as productive as anyone else playing this game.
The 30 seconds to kill Crota after they yank the network cable out and a 32 kills the sword bearer once the host returns is probably the silliest thing I've ever seen in gaming. Zero sense of accomplishment with this expansion.
I liked the mechanic of the templar fight in that one person with a relic building up super to drop the bosses shield so that everyone else can hit the boss a lot more than everyone is dropping the bosses shield so the sword bearer can do something. It's boring and I could care less to set foot...
Because RNG is so bad I don't even bother with raiding anymore. I find that I also care less about what Xur has lately due to all the duplicates he seems to stock. This game is tolerable as a single player experience, but the rewards for cooperative play are a joke.
How much "harder" is the hard mode vault of glass anyways? I'm still trying to get drops from the normal one (gloves so far). Also, we have a few folks comfortable with holding the relic (4/6) so the new teleportation hotfix doesn't bother me really.
Lol...this thread continues to deliver. Not anything MMO related of course, but anyone who had gone through Vanguard knew Pantheon has zero chance in hell of being anything.
Even though he was drunk and it made me laugh I still can't support anyone or an project that gets behind a failed producer. At this point a pen an paper game would be a long shot for this crew...much less a mobile app.
