You are disregarding price for performance. And if we are being anecdotal, I have had zero issues with my Ryzen 5 3600 and 5700XT on an X470 board. And I've definitely had issues with Intel in the past, because PC part manufacturers all suck sometimes.

Hard thing with prebuilt computers is Motherboard, RAM and Power Supply. You typically know what you are getting with the CPU and Video Card. If you can't identify the motherboard it's a no go to me. RAM could be less important if you are doing an Intel build.

1080TI is almost impossible to replace right now. I'd be surprised if you'd even need to bother for another two or three years. High end video cards are in a really weird spot. Mid range is awesome right now.
