    Defiance

I was having FPS issues as well with the exact same setup (GTX 580, i7-2600k, 8GB ram). Updating to the latest drivers and forcing Vsync off in the nvidia control panel seems to have fixed it for me. Went from 30fps to 80.

    Textbook Tips and Tricks

Most of my classes have a textbook that incorporates some type of online or learning software for the actual assignments and requires an activation code. What I end up with is a code that cost me $150 and a giant textbook that I never open. Looks like The Man is shutting the used textbook market...

Ultima Online Forever - UO Forever - Launches 01/18

Sorry to noob up the thread but I just started playing for the first time a couple of days ago and I had some questions. 1. I'm mostly warrior with a bit of magery (Mace/Tact/Anat/Mage/Spell Resist/Healing/?). My young player status just dropped off and I'm wondering where I should go next...

    King of the Nerds

A lot of painfully awkward moments but it was somewhat entertaining. I'll probably give it a couple more episodes.

    SimCity

They are definitely smaller than the old Sim City. The game really pushes you to specialize your city and trade resources with neighbors so like you would have a town focused on manufacturing and your neighbor has a mining town that can provide resources instead of building everything yourself...

    Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

I enjoyed this one a lot more than War of the Roses. There isn't as much character customization but the combat feels a lot more visceral and exciting in my opinion. Theres a new update coming in the next week or two that adds a couple more weapons, maps, and a duel mode.

    SimCity

Played through the beta a couple of times now and have enjoyed it so far. I like how the water and power use the roads instead of having to place pipes and powerlines which I found tedious in the other games. I also like that you can upgrade a lot of the service buildings by adding additions...

    Alas poor THQ

Sega signed a multi-title deal for the Warhammer Fantasy rights late last year before the recent Relic purchase. I'm hoping for a Warhammer: Total War but that would be a long way off consider Rome 2 isn't scheduled to release until late 2013. http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/06/cr...title-deal-fi/

    Alas poor THQ

Here's to hoping they allow Relic to keep pumping out CoH and 40k games. Sega also owns Creative Assembly (Total War) who just bought the rights to Warhammer Fantasy so maybe there will be some collaboration down the road.
