Bring a group for the dungeon. It is 980. It isn't really that hard. Compareable to Master Ordeals, maybe slightly easier. Soloing it would be a pain in the ass, but it is certainly doable (check vids).

It was a pretty quick quest compared to most. Well worth it IMO, it hits like a truck now.
