They are Blizzard in name only.
I almost feel like you could create a countdown clock based on the worth of a company, whereby you can say "at this value, the company will turn to shit". I bet this has been done. Time to Google.
Also, they won't be able to pump out content to fast enough to sate their users. Vanguard already had this problem and it was in the hands of a much better equipped suitor.
Good to hear. Always a positive thing when you find out games are going to a "premium model", or as like to call it "what buying a product should always be".
Also nice to hear that you can play it offline.
Thankfully, Doug Wilson has a good history of turning nothing into picks. Hopefully he can work his magic again. We have a few bottom-six players to unload this year, so that might help some. I just hope DW doesn't trade those picks away for forwards again so we can properly tank in the future.
You finally unleash an old god on Azeroth, and the potential revival of the black empire, only to end it so abruptly and with so little fanfare. Of all of the things they've failed at, this one is pretty bad for me. They've always kinda made moments that should be epic end like a wet fart, but...
Now that I'm just dickin around on the shamgod and just doing whatever I feel like, the game is actually pretty fun. Chasing the dragon is the real problem.
...that and potentially 8-9 months of no new content.
Hate to say it, but I really think the Sharks should consider putting burns up for trade. He has been one of our more miserable d-men this year and looks to be way on the decline. I think the perception of him is more idilic and it means we could get a lot back. Of course, San Jose has this...
Nah, it's shit all the way through. Solid combat, bad progression tree. Story is riddled with plot holes and the characters are gay, as is typical of most every JRPG post FF7(except for FF9, which is a gem).
I think they will also trivialize Essence acquisition, I just wish they would do it now. My reason for not caring about the cloak is that the expansion will nearly be over and they typically trivialize shit by the end, when it doesn't matter. My guess is they will do what they did with the Mage...
By the end of this patch cycle they will likely trivialize most of the grind. I'm not worried about the cloak in the future, but I am worried about Essence now.
Just gonna spend the later half of this expansion playing non-meta fun specs and making the most of it. Doing ENH atm, it's a shame it's so useless because it's actually pretty damn fun.
Especially when you've bled so many subs. I guarantee you a large number of people would come back for this patch if they heard that Essences were becoming account-wide.
So much this.
Also, why the fuck is Ion so attached to Essences being per character? The explanation he gave is simply not true. Essences are often essential to even being viable, not just generic power upgrades.
I'm generally not the guy who is into dev shit talking hyperbole, but who the fuck came up with Essences? Jesus christ.
I was looking to fuck around on a non-serious spec(Enhancement), and I noticed that I had literally none of the good Essences for it. Imagine what this shit is going to be...
Yeah, sorry. I should have put more info in there. Was a lazy attempt and I assumed I wouldn't get a response. Much appreciated mi amigo. Domo arigato!
The sad part is that there is nothing really new on the horizon. The wheel isn't changing at all. The best we can hope for is that Shadowlands returns to the form of Legion with more control over the systems of progression(namely legendaries), and alt-friendliness.
I'm not sure if that's...
I wish I could enjoy FF14. I do enjoy the MMO thing when it works, more than any type of game. But, that aesthetic is just not for me and the combat feels way too wonky compared to WoW(even with the shitty BFA changes).
I kind of have a hard time finding the carrot for anything in this type of game nowadays. They've so removed any kind of mental reward for doing anything, in favor of everyone just being mediocre.
Visuals don't mean much, because the only thing that really changes is the colors of your gear...
