Thanks for the advice, I investigated what file was causing the problem and it looks like it is the data056.bin. I deleted this and it fixed my schedule bug but reset my list for monster's I've seen. But now I can switch to doing the full documents folder method now.

What I think it comes down to is if it enhances your enjoyment without negatively impacting other people's enjoyment. For me, cheating at super mario would have made the game super boring, but for a young sibling it was the only way they could enjoy the game.

Then hacking is just taking advantage of bad security design. Where do you draw the line? Taking advantage of bad game design is clearly not playing the game as it was intended. The second a game company states you aren't playing the game as intended does it become cheating?

I played this game a lot on release. I think I had even more fun disassembling the game and making my own customer server with better anti griefing, which made my server pretty popular =p Hopefully future games come with better out of the box modding support.
