PSN has this for $20 this week. Worthwhile to give it a go on the ps5? No idea if it has been updated to 4k/60 on the 5. I’ve never played it before, but enjoyed RDR1 well enough.

Got it for $30 a few days ago and am probably about 10 hours in so far. Such a great game. I feel like I’m playing a movie. So much banter and dialogue. It’s never quiet. I’m pleasantly surprised!

This doesn’t sound like my kind of game persay, but from how engaging you guys say the story is, and the BF PSN discount, I might need to give it a try. Need something to play between now and Elden Ring / Witch Queen in February. Any other games I should snag from the sale?

Isn’t DQ1 (DW) the game that came free with a Nintendo Power subscription back in the day? Man, that was the best surprise as a kid getting a free nes game with my magazine one summer and I’ve been hooked on DQ/FF/RPGs in general ever since.

Can’t believe how expensive these are and that they are steam/mobile only. Maybe they are waiting for all 6 to be released then putting them on switch/consoles as a package deal? One can hope (if they turn out good)

I use the pulse headset, but you’d be surprised how well the controller works for voice chat for casual stuff or in a pinch.

I’m having the same issue with ME1. I open the powers wheel and click the button that says map or whatever but nothing happens and I can’t figure out how to make a button shortcut for it on my controlller. Every time in combat if I want to use an ability I have to open the wheel and manually...

Is there a trick to the drones in biome 3 or are they way overtuned? They kamikazi dive and release red rings of death in addition to normal attacks. I was feeling pretty good having the astronaut toy and a parasite that revived me on death to get to the boss and try him for the first time...

Do you guys have tons of issues with host drops? At least 75% of my runs I get disconnected from the host and lose any progress. I’m on a good connection too, it’s just this game that gives me issues.

I also think the charging station is great. I just wish it also had a USB port on the side so I could charge my headset at the same time without needing to use the ports on the actual console.

On ps5 it ran well for me. Smooth and never had a crash. Oddly though the rumble was not working and instead was causing the adaptive triggers to ‘click’ when searching for landmarks. I assume that’s not intended.
