If you can reliably use Xenagos as a pseudo Burning Tree Emissary the turn you cast him then he will probably see a good bit of play. If not, then it is still very much up in the air as to whether or not he will be good.

Yeah, I am personally feeling that a burn themed deck might be a thing in standard again too. The red god seems super fun in combination with Young Pyromancer and Akroan Crusader. Also seems like Ogre Battle driver could be really good too. Need to see more spoilers though.

Did a bunch if the tournies at PAX. It was fun, didn't win anything but did top four some stuff. I did at least go even in terms of entry fees and cards I got including a tarmogoyf I pulled from a modern masters pack.

Yep and the fact that a lot of them likely haven't played competitively in almost anything before LoL. Whereas other sports players at their age and skill level for things like hockey, baseball, etc. have been playing since they were 5-6.

So my LGS is hosting a M14 sealed tourney this weekend where top eight get FTV:20. Unfortunately I haven't been able to play much limited, though from reading StarCityGames it seems blue is the best colour. Anyone got any tips? I did at least do the prerelease and release events.

At lower ELO you can make Zac work by just peeling for your ADC because Zac also excels at peel too. That way you don't necessarily have to rely on your team to follow up but are doing lots of good things for your team that often doesn't happen at low ELO.

IIRC isn't Lissandra played at the pro level? Just might be that she requires people on your team to follow up on abilities which is a tall order in most of solo queue.

Mordekaiser is good in certain situations, for example as a counter pick to a team running a Heimerdinger 3v1 mid lane. At the same time you will never see that except in organized play sooo yeah. Even in that situation I am unsure if Mordekaiser is the best, anyway.
