If you want to take a REALLY high order view of MTG you can classify it into control and rush (combo is just a subset of both) but that is quite a bit of oversimplification of the complexities of MTG.

Look at the subclass specs of each also. I suggest you go with DPS'ing Titan with the Defender subclass and become a buff bot + fist raping god. You lost fist of havoc but you gain a shield which can be used to buff you if you spec it right. Plus you gain decent melee powerups.

I would guess that has more to do with how much it cost to go to the movies these days. Sure the price is correct when adjusted for inflation but our incomes haven't gone up relative to inflation so the price is much higher then it should be. /Factsoutofmyass

I don't know. 100% chance to generate an actuator up from 50% I think is pretty good and making it usable while casting other spells means you never have to stop other casting. I haven't done the math but your overall dps should go up quite a bit more then 100 dps just from those two changes.
