If you played WoW starting on Day 1 I'll grant you the title of "Experienced MMO player". To get Veteran you just have to have played at least EQ2 and/or something before it. As well as dabble in the hodge podge of MMO clones since WoW. Hardcore

IMHO Wow was more popular when it's raiding game was tuned more for the hardcore crowd. Eventually enough leakage happened that bads could be carried and that system worked.

Ok here is my problem, Pyros + Draegan and whoever else has an issue with leveling (not just the tutorial) in this game. What kind of leveling experience do YOU want? Is this just a case of been there done that now everything is boring? Because maybe MMO gaming in general has just burned you...

I approve of this review. To me this game will probably be a good 3-4 month romp then I'll switch to Archage. Or maybe I'll just hope between the two the whole time. I enjoy them both for different reasons and it's not like Archage costs money to play.

FYI tournaments are back up. So far I have completed 5 Draft. Bottom 4 in 3 of them (5k gold) and 2nd round in the other 2 (2 set 1 boosters and 10k gold).

Most of us who have been playing WoW since launch are burned out on it. If you aren't burned out on WoW it's probably the best MMO out there still.

As others have said it's all about the sandbox. You do what you want to do. If you need defined structure or goals to have fun (nothing wrong with that imo) then you may not like it past the questing (that is if you even like the questing which many do not). This game is probably the closest...

I don't care how much protection it's lacking. I'm leveling as Battlerage/Vitalism/Auramancy which has the smoothest combat flow I've felt so far. The intention is to switch to Witchcraft/Vitalism/Auramancy at the end game when melee is worth shit (so I hear) in PvP and become an immortal healer.

I'm of the same mind. The inital farm spots are centrally located and not bad I suppose but I'm hoping to set up closer to an aqua farm spot/boat access spot and I haven't found those yet.

I've did some reading awhile back on these things in case I wanted to add one to our tank system in the future to help us have hot water for longer. The hot water runs out pretty fast with 2 people taking a shower I don't want to even consider what it's going to be like when the girls are old...
