Ughh, haven't been playing much and I'm supposed to play in the GenCon Heartstone eSport tourney. So, what do you guys think... I'm thinking standard Zoo, Cthun War, and Control Shaman (some Crusher variant). I'm really not sure...I wish I could play 3 warrior decks tbh.

You want to wait to evolve until you have a magic egg running...The exp multiplier is huge.

I would do it sooner and constantly, but only under magic egg multiplier...The quicker you get higher level, the faster you get access to ultra balls and the sooner you start collecting high CP pokemon.

best part of that is when you switch to Shaman...and instantly pull 2 warrriors. After not seeing one for 5 games. RNG I know, but it always seems to work that way.

Agreed. Chicago is crazy for this game. The dog park in the nearby park has 2 poke stops reachable and lures going 24hrs a day...I saw like 30 people just walking loops at Hamlin for the 8 poke-stops and 3 gyms. Some of the gyms are level 5 with CP 950+ in all the spots. Kinda fun to watch.

So, to max out the pokemon it would be best to get a stage 1 and max>evolve>max>evolve>max? As long as you selected decent abilities for the initial stage 1...Just not wanting to capture a stage 2>evolve>max and discover that I wasted stardust making a shitty pokemon.

I'm playing with my kids. They love it. They love the exploring and territory side of it...but my son still shrieks everytime he catches a new pokemon.

I used to play a ton of Dota back on Battlenet...I loaded up Dota 2 and wanted to start again. Any advice on what types of matches are welcome to noobs? The vitriol and hate that was dumped onto to newbies in Dota was epic. I'd prefer to avoid that while I ramp back up.
