Perforate has QoL issues that impale can't fix. You want "attack without moving" enabled for clear but disabled for single target. If you can fix that, it's probably the best Hiltless skill since its clear isn't ass like molten strike. Though, that's getting indirectly nerfed too.

When was impale nerfed? It's still a quite strong mechanic if you're going pure phys. In fact, it needs a nerfing if only because going crit, melee, and impale is far too many passive points on the tree.

I'd say cyclone benefits the least from the change to Bronne's Lithe.

From a balance and gearing perspective, I would say max res isn't the same as spell suppression or block. Initial invest is much higher. But, given this is really only needed for bossing, maybe that's still a valid answer. Good suggestion on the small clusters, I'd forgotten about those.

As I said, more availability that goes wide without blowing up the top end. What does a left side 2H Attack build do for spell hits? Classic LL Pain Attunement spell caster? Non-Raider Bow CoC?

In the context of spell suppression or spell block, sure, that change makes sense. In the context of "You want to bolster your defense again spell hits" it makes less sense. Spell suppression needed more competing availability. Block does as well, glancing blows is a crutch.

No changes to lightning strike, nightblade, and champion. Latter indirectly buffed and debuffed by reservation and defiance banner changes though.
