    The Acolyte

Hard to get excited about anything Star Wars (other than Andor) after the mediocre last season of Mando and the terrible Boba Fett. The animated side, in Bad Batch and Tails is better, but still not close to as good as the finally 3 seasons of Clone Wars or the last 2 seasons of Rebels.

I concur. I like that I can use Win11's auto size feature (by dragging a window to the side of the screen) to resize windows faster on my 32" side monitor in vertical/portrait. It makes for stacking windows a bit cleaner.

You can probably get used to a lot of different set ups, as long as you can read everything. I used to use a 42" TV main, with a 27" IPS as a secondary and it was manageable. With both of them next to each other, I could defiantly notice the 27" monitor was superior for text and would sometimes...

    Let's build some pools!

Depending on the cost to fix that, would be worth investing in one of the various types of heavy duty quick dam type set up? It would have probably still added risk (in at least that particular case), since the edge of the pool dig out is so close to the fence and your adding weight on top, but...

World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery

Made me curious to go look, even though I'm not playing. The plate set has 1% more to hit and the leather set has +3 daggers. Does that mean duel wield is better for warriors than 2h weapons (I vaguely remember duel wield warriors till Asscandy dropped, maybe)? Also, hit used to be the most...

Cold or room temp baked Yukon Golds (with fresh ground garlic salt rubbed on the skin while baking) aren't bad in rush. If you need something more, you can use a knife to spread some sour cream on before each bite. I could see them as a good poopsocking food, instead of the probable junk food I...

You don't have to have ever used one to know what they are, at least. I know in the 50s and 60s they had huge lots of public electric shavers, but the big white wall at one side of the lot, to advertise the service, was probably a bit of an overkill. Obligatory pic:

If your reading Dark Mater as anything more than "this is our best guess because all of our other ideas have failed in some way" you are doing it wrong. Of course it's "wrong" because it's just a placeholder for future discoveries. As in, all our current models, which have fewer errors in them...

Wat? They just layered proper proportioned continents (mostly) onto a blue background, that in no way represents the size of the oceans. While it is neat to seem them all in one frame, Google maps allows you to zoom out and see everything in accurate proportions, including the ocean.

As I have always seen it used, the anglosphere is Great Brittan, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Ireland, and the the US. I would take Chris focusing on just those countries is because the current progressive political rift is more pronounced in them and "wokeness" is viewed as...

It shows how nonchalant they ran the show, I guess. So it's not a stretch to think their actions eventually affected the writers room; especially since Seth is one of the writers.

Everyone but McFarlin and Grimes have heard the saying "you don't shit where you eat." The story is that Seth fucked the one chick that left after season 1 and Grimes fucked, married, then divorced (inamicable) with Palicki in less than a year; it may have been bad enough that they couldn't be...

Baldur's Gate 3 by Larian Games

Being that it was in EA for so long, and the the face of the game, I think they kinda let chapter 1 get away from them. On the other hand, some people like being at max power for X amount of time in games too. Even if XP was a bit tighter, with the alternate paths allowing players to skip/miss...

World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery

Well, first, even when having a healthy stack of gold, I liked to farm my own mats when I was just making stuff for myself. Second, my server had jacked up prices, where bots didn't seem to deflate the cost of mats nearly as much as other servers. There were farm bots running, but not enough to...

World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery

The most compelling argument that I have seen is in regards to bots taking over an area that kill every quest mob before you can tag it or harvest every node so you cant do trade skills. Vanilla in particular had more limited places to get certain trade skill items (like skinning special scales...

You can skim a thread and not get spoilers (most of the time) by reading the first line, the first few words, or just scroll past that user altogether, depending on the person. Otherwise you can wait until the last episode has aired and then skip to the last page of the thread and see what...
