RE: endings

I have to actually go into the office today, so no Melania attempt until this evening. I'm at about 20 tries. All I need for the plat trophy...that fucking whore.

Just got Malenia down to like 5% health in 2nd phase and died. If I hear "I am Malenia, Blade of Miquella" one more time...

Well I beat the game. Did all the endings. I now only need Malenia or the Platinum trophy. Isn't happening tonight. I've got her phase 1 down easy, but I'm getting absolutely rocked in the second phase. Hopefully beat her tomorrow.

Man, you guys were not kidding about the difficulty increase at the end of the game. It really lulls you into a false sense of security before Farum Azula and Haligtree. I'm paying for all my lazy habits in the earlier game.

I'm so fucking blown away by how much content there was in the base game, especially after DS3 and Sekiro not really being that old so it's not like they were working on this game for 10 years. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if these crazy Japanese bastards don't already have a 40 hour DLC...

Locked chest is for Ranni the Witch's quest, I think. I got the key to that quite a bit later after beating Renalla. As for the other key, I think it's a dupe as well. Not sure why, though. Maybe there's another way into the academy other than getting key behind dragon?

I gotta get back to...well everything else in my life.

Blashphemous Blade is what I'm using. STR/FAI Greatsword with an absolutely awesome L2 attack and it heals you with every kill.

And I'm saying it's not the ring dismount mapped to L3, it's duck/stealth that is mapped to L3. Ducking is what is actually removing you from your mount in this scenario. Removing the mapping completely would remove the ability to stealth(at least on PS5).

It's not the ring that is dismounting you, it's ducking into stealth mode. You need to remap duck/stealth to fix the dismount issue. I swapped it with spell change(up on d pad). Obviously, this is only if you're dismounting inadvertently during combat.

Did I fuck up anything by doing the assassination contract thing in Volcano Manor?
